Chocolate Covered Cherries:

12 to 16 ounces filtered water or your choice of non-dairy, unsweetened milk (almond and full-fat coconut milk work well)

Put everything in a blender. Blend to desired consistency.

A: A full serving of PERFECT AMINO® Power Meal contains a tremendous amount of nutrition and comes out to 48.4g, which is approximately one full scoop. However, because PERFECT AMINO® Power Meal contains MCTs, you should start slow to allow your digestive system to adjust. Sometimes if MCTs are introduced too quickly to your system, loose stool and gas can occur. We recommend you begin with a half scoop at first and work your way up to a full scoop to minimize potential discomfort.

Q: Where Are The Amino Acids Sourced From?

A: The amino acids in PERFECT AMINO® Power Meal are derived from plant-based sources that are broken down and separated into free-form amino acids, resulting in pharmaceutical-grade amino acids. There are no remaining plant residues or sugars, yeast, gluten, soy, corn, wheat, rice, preservatives or excipients. PERFECT AMINO® is vegan sourced and produced in FDA registered, cGMP Certified facilities.

Q: How is MCT Oil Different Than Coconut Oil? Isn’t Coconut Oil Mostly MCTs?

A: Coconut oil contains 62-65% medium-chain triglycerides or MCTs. However, there are four types of MCTs, and there is a significant metabolic difference between them. MCTs are a form of fats with carbon chains between 6 and 12 carbon atoms long: C6, C8, C10, and C12. The most impressive health and energy benefits come with caproic acid (C8) and caprylic acid (C10), which comprises PERFECT AMINO® Power Meal’s MCT oil ingredient. These are absorbed directly into cells and converted into the bioenergy currency of ATP in only three steps. Lauric acid (C12) is processed by the liver, not by tissue cells like C8 and C10 MCTs. Thus, while lauric acid is technically an MCT by name, it doesn’t metabolically behave in the same way as the others.

Lauric acid is the predominant component of coconut oil, typically about 50%. C8 and C10, by comparison, make up 6% and 9%, respectively. Lauric acid still has plenty of health benefits, and coconut oil is a very healthy fat, but the MCT oil in PERFECT AMINO® Power Meal has a much higher concentration of C8 and C10 and therefore gives you more energy.

Q: I Thought I Was Not Supposed to Take PERFECT AMINO® with Fats or Oils, but PERFECT AMINO® Power Meal Contains MCTs?

A: PERFECT AMINO® should not be taken with other proteins, fats, or oils because they can significantly slow down the absorption rate, which usually takes only 20 minutes. This rapid absorption is part of how PERFECT AMINO® provides such powerful performance-enhancing benefits. The presence of other macronutrients will trigger different digestive processes that slow the passage of material into the small intestine where absorption occurs. MCTs, however, are not typical fats. They are absorbed very quickly and do not slow down the digestive process.

Q: Will PERFECT AMINO® Power Meal Throw Me Out of Ketosis?

A: PERFECT AMINO® Power Meal is 100% keto-friendly. The only carbohydrate in PERFECT AMINO® Power Meal, Carb10, does not raise blood sugar or insulin levels. Carb10 was tested in preliminary experiments and individuals taking up to 60g of Carb10 maintained full ketosis.
